Located at Elijas 7, HANZA Hotel is positioned in a peaceful, historic neighborhood just a 15-minute walk from the famous Central Market and 20 minutes from the heart of the Old Town. We offer a calm alternative to the busy tourist center, with easy access to the city’s main transport hubs—the central train and bus stations are only 12 minutes away on foot. From the historic Jesus Church right across the street to the hidden gems of the Spīķeri district nearby, our location lets you explore the best of Riga while ensuring a quiet night’s sleep away from the noise.

Traveling from Riga International Airport (RIX)

By Bus (Most Affordable): Take Bus No. 22 directly from the airport to the “Centrāltirgus” (Central Market) stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From there, it is a pleasant 10-minute walk to the hotel at Elijas 7.

Tip: You can buy a ticket from the driver using a bank card, or at the “Narvesen” kiosk in the airport – it costs 1.50 EUR

By Taxi / Bolt: The quickest way is by taxi or using the Bolt app. The ride usually takes 15–20 minutes and costs approximately €15–€25, depending on the time of day.

From the International Bus Station or Central Train Station

On Foot (Recommended): We are only 800 meters away. It is a simple 10-minute walk. Exit the station toward the Central Market and walk through the market area toward the Jesus Church (the tall wooden building you will see on the skyline).

By Tram: If you have heavy luggage, you can take Tram No. 7 from the “Centrāltirgus” stop to the “Jēzusbaznīcas iela” stop. From there, the hotel is just 2 minutes away.

Arriving by Car & Parking

Reaching HANZA Hotel at Elijas 7 is simple, as we are located just off the main transit routes entering the city center. While we do not have a private garage, there is convenient public street parking directly in front of the hotel. This allows you to unload your luggage right at our entrance. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to navigate, making it a stress-free destination for those traveling by car.

Location: Public city parking is available right on Elijas iela in front of the hotel entrance.
Parking Rates:
First hour: €1.50
Every subsequent hour: €2.00
Paid Hours: * Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 20:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 17:00
Free Parking: Outside of these hours, parking is completely free. This includes all day on Sundays and Public Holidays, as well as overnight on weekdays.
How to Pay: During paid hours, you can use the ticket machines on the street (coins or card) or the Mobilty and EuroPark mobile apps.
